Nicole Kidman always graces the red carpet with flawless, beautiful makeup. By keeping her makeup simple and soft, she lets her radiant, natural beauty shine through. Follow these steps to wear makeup like Nicole Kidman, even without a personal makeup artist.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Moisturizer
  • Tweezers
  • Makeup brushes
  • Mirror
  • Foundation
  • Concealer stick
  • Loose powder
  • Illuminating lotion or powder
  • Blush
  • Eyeshadow
  • Eyeliner
  • Mascara
  • Lipstick
  • Lip gloss
  1. Step 1

Wash and moisturize your entire face. This will help give your skin a dewy glow.

  2. Step 2

Pluck your eyebrows into a nice shape with a slight arch. Leave them a little full. Nicole Kidman doesn't have thin eyebrows.

  3. Step 3

Use a sheer liquid foundation and blend well for a transparent look. Add concealer where needed to even out skin tone before dusting your face lightly with loose powder.

  4. Step 4

Smooth a small amount of a tinted illuminating lotion or powder onto your cheeks. Nicole Kidman has radiant skin, so brush a light powdered blush onto the apples of your cheeks, and then back along your cheekbones. Lightly dust your forehead, nose and chin as well.

  5. Step 5

Aim for Nicole's smoky "cat eye" effect. Apply smokey eye makeup (see eHow guide, "How to Get Charcoal Smoky Eyes").

  6. Step 6

Moisturize the lips before painting them with a soft neutral pink or taupe color. Dab a bit of gloss only on the center of the bottom lip.

Tips & Warnings
  • Use Chanel makeup products, which Nicole Kidman endorses, such as Chanel Soft Touch Eyeshadows in Silvery and Ebony, Chanel Le Crayon Khol Intense Eye Pencil in Graphite and Noir, Chanel Inimitable Mascara in Noir and Chanel Rouge Allure in Darling.
  • Avoid matte or dry looking skin and foundation.
  • Don't go overboard with any of the makeup. It should all be soft and natural looking.
