Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Card stock
  • Stamp
  • VersaMark ink
  • Heat-and-stick powder
  • Heat tool
  • Glitter
  1. Step 1

Choose your stamp. Any stamp will do when you're working with glitter, although large stamps look impressive after sparkle is added.

  2. Step 2

Set the foundation with VersaMark ink. VersaMark, a clear ink, will be the base for your glitter. When you apply this ink to colored card stock, the image appears as a watermark, slightly darker than the card stock.

  3. Step 3

Apply heat-and-stick powder. Using a piece of scrap paper or a glitter tray to protect your work surface, pour a fair amount of the powder over your stamp image. Knock off any excess and return it to the bottle before proceeding. The powder will stick to the image and help your glitter adhere better in Step 4.

  4. Step 4

Plug in your heat gun and slowly go over your image until the powder is melted completely. This shouldn't take more than a few seconds.

  5. Step 5

Pour the glitter over the stamped image. Once the image is thoroughly covered, give it one last shot with the heat tool to make sure that everything stays in place.
