Decorating your rain stick with construction paper is a fun way to customize it. You can use construction paper to create a mosaic tile effect on the exterior of your rain stick. The only other things you need are glue and creativity.

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

    Select an array of construction paper in various colors. Cut the construction paper into different sizes and shapes.

  2. Step 2

    Fit the various colored pieces together on your rain stick, much like you're putting together a puzzle. Arrange the pieces at random or use a pattern.

  3. Step 3

    Continue until your entire rain stick is covered with construction paper. Vary the size and color of the paper to create an intricate mosaic effect.

  4. Step 4

    Use a marker to draw the grout lines between your mosaic tiles. Let your rain stick dry thoroughly.

  5. Step 5

    Paint your entire rain stick with a coating of adhesive to make sure everything stays put. Use an adhesive that dries clear.
