Step 1
Remove any strings from the turkey and lay the bird on a clean surface.

Slice the turkey at an angle. Use your free hand to hold the meat in place while your other hand slices the turkey evenly. You can also guide the knife with the hand that is holding the meat in place. Slice slowly so that the meat will cut evenly. Always cut towards the turkey's ribs. The will produce a cleaner cut.

Place the pieces of carved turkey on a serving plate. Arrange the meat nicely so that it has a nice presentation.
