How to Serve Vegetable Ribbon Meatballs

If you intend to host a special dinner party or a gathering of friends and family, you can't forget the appetizers. Vegetable ribbon meatballs are made with sauced meatballs and thin ribbons of vegetables. Make these meatballs when you want a healthy yet tasty appetizer.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Vegetable ribbon meatballs
  • Basil leaves
  • Dipping sauce
  • Parsley (optional)
  • Serving plate or platter
  • Dishes or bowls for toothpicks
  • Toothpicks
  1. Step 1

    Arrange the vegetable ribbon meatballs neatly on a large plate or serving platter. Be sure to serve vegetable ribbon meatballs while hot.
    Decorate the plate by placing a few large basil leaves around the edges. Sprinkle the meatballs with freshly chopped parsley. Top the plate with freshly chopped or torn basil leaves for added color, flavor and freshness.

  2. Step 2

    Place the plate of meatballs alongside a dish of dipping sauce. Provide a bowl with toothpicks for guests to pick up their meatballs.

  3. Step 3

    Have small appetizer plates available for your guests to use with the vegetable ribbon meatballs and a small cup or dish for used toothpicks.
