There are geniuses in this world that have done wonderful things to advance society and enhance our way of living. But none should be more celebrated than the inventors of cheesecake. They had the foresight to combine two of our favorite foods, cheese and cake, and turn them into a sinful dessert. Here's how to serve cheesecake properly at your next dinner party.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Pie spatula
  • Plates
  • Fruit garnish
  1. Step 1

Remove the cheesecake from the spring-loaded cake mold. After the cheesecake has cooled and formed, it's time for you to carefully remove the mold to avoid any cracking in the center of the cheesecake. Pop the spring latch (found on the side of the mold) and gently pull it up over the mold.

  2. Step 2

Cut and divide your cheesecake into the appropriate number of slices to serve your dinner party or family. Remember that cheesecake is very rich, so when you serve it, smaller slices are definitely in order. You should be able to get 12 slices out of your average sized cheesecake.

  3. Step 3

Lift each piece of cheesecake with your pie spatula. Try your best not to break the crust underneath of the cheesecake. Then, gently place the cheesecake on the plate.

  4. Step 4

Add a fruit garnish or topping to the cheesecake when you serve it. Popular toppings on plain cheesecake are strawberries, blueberries, blackberries or raspberries. Some people also drizzle chocolate or caramel sauces on top as well. Add a fork and the cheesecake is now ready to serve to friends and family at your dinner party.

Tips & Warnings
  • To make a simple sauce for the top of your cheesecake, throw some fruit in a bowl and add sugar. Keep stirring until the juices from some of the fruit have released. That's it: You have just made an easy fruit topping. If you are throwing a dinner party, offer several different fruit sauces for your guests to choose from.
