When it comes to creating a dramatic look with your makeup, eyes and lips are of the utmost importance. Lips may be one of the most attractive qualities of a woman, and you don't need plastic surgery to get full, luscious lips. With a few tips, you can create the illusion of lustful lips in just a matter of minutes.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Lip liner pencil
  • Lipstick
  • Lip gloss
Step1
Choose a lip liner pencil and matching lipstick in a nice pink color. For your dramatic look, your lip color should be about two shades darker than your natural lip color. Additionally, your lipstick should be matte, and not iridescent or frosty.
Step2
Begin with your lip liner pencil, following the natural line of your lips, but tracing along the outer edges to create the illusion of larger lips. Be careful that the line is even and not too wide, as an overzealous optical illusion can quickly destroy your dramatic look.
Step3
Fill in your lips with your liner pencil once you have completed the outline. Filling in the lips with the liner pencil creates a sort of primer for your lip color, help the lipstick to bond to your lips and last longer through the evening. Additionally, filling in the lips ensures that you will not be left with unsightly lip lines if your lipstick begins to fade.
Step4
Cover your lip liner with your matching lipstick, blending well by rubbing your lips together. Top off your dramatic makeup look by adding a touch of lip gloss. Only apply lip gloss to the middle section of your lips, avoiding the crease where pigment and moisture can begin to clump.
