Many women like to add bronzer to their makeup bags for a more dramatic look. Bronzer comes in liquid and powder forms and adds color to your facial features where the sun naturally shines. Use the bronzer in addition to your liquid and powder foundation and apply it after you put these products on your face. This gives you a clean pallet so you can begin to add color.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Dip a big makeup brush into the powder and tap your brush lightly on the side of the container.

  3. Step 3

Apply with gentle strokes to your cheekbones, forehead, chin and the bridge of your nose.

  4. Step 4

    Blend with your brush repeatedly.

  5. Liquid-Based Bronzer for Dry Skin

  6. Step 1

Choose the right tone of bronzer for your skin tone.

  7. Step 2

Pour a drop of the liquid or gel onto your fingers or a makeup wedge.

  8. Step 3

Put a dot on each of your cheekbones, forehead, chin and the bridge of your nose.

  9. Step 4

Blend the bronzer in a circular motion and move toward your hairline.

Tips & Warnings
  • Place a dab of the liquid bronzer in the palm of your hand and blend well to find the shade closest to your skin tone.
  • Apply a little bit at a time. If you go too dark, your face starts to look dirty and unnatural.
  • Never go with a shade that is more than two shades darker than your normal skin tone.
