Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Things You’ll Need:
- Thin liner brush
- Cream liner with metallic flakes
- Gold-colored metallic shadow
- Bulleted brush
Step1
Apply liner only after you have finished your makeup base and shadow. You should already have completed your foundation and blush and set it with finishing powder. Additionally, eyeliner should come after your highlights, shadow primer and shadow.
Step2
Choose a translucent cream liner with metallic flecks. You can select bronze, platinum or gold flecks, depending on the look you are going for.
Step3
Dab a thin eyeliner brush into your cream liner or eye shadow and make a defined line just above the eyelashes, working along the entire lid. Make sure that you work the cream down into the lashes. Create a finer line on the lower lid, working just below the lash line. Again, the liner should go on even to create a defined line that will later be blended with shadow and a bulleted brush.
Step4
Finish your eyeliner and then repeat on the other eye. Once complete, add a small bit of gold-colored metallic shadow to a bulleted brush and very gently dab it into the entire upper-lid line. Now use small and gentle upward strokes to blend your liner with the gold shadow, creating a smoky look. Repeat with the lower lid and the opposite eye to complete your metallic liner.
