Things You'll Need:
- Two angled brushes
- Dark eye shadow
- Eyebrow wax
-
Step 1
Complete your eyebrows only after you have applied your base makeup and finished your eyes. You should have already applied foundation, blush, finishing powder, eye shadow and liner, mascara, eye brightener and highlights. Filling in your eyebrows will top of your look, framing and lifting your eyes.
-
Step 2
Choose the correct brush for applying powders to your eyebrows. It is best to select a small brush with a sharp angle so that you can easily work into the corner and lines of your brows. When shopping for eyebrow brushes, you'll notice that most have thick, hard bristles that are used when plucking and trimming the brows. Instead, choose an angled eyeliner brush that you will use only on your brows.
-
Step 3
Apply a light amount of dark, powdered eye shadow to your brush, making sure that the powder matches the color of your brows. Begin at the corner of your brow and work to the outer edge, filling in any spaces with powder.
-
Step 4
Dab another angled brush into the eyebrow wax, which again should match your color, and follow the line of your brow to help settle the powder and lay down any unruly hairs. Finally, add another light dusting of powder to the top of the wax to give your brows a natural look and fill in any spaces, completing your metallic makeup look for the eyes.
