Things You'll Need:
- Undereye brightener
- Concealer brush
-
Step 1
Use undereye brightener after you have applied your base makeup including foundation, finishing powder and highlights. Additionally, it is best to use eye brightener after you have finished your eyes with metallic shadow, liner and mascara, since the brightener can help to clean up any fallen makeup and top off your look.
-
Step 2
Squeeze a small drop of your undereye brightener onto the back of your hand. Undereye brightener generally comes in small tubes and is a lightweight, translucent liquid. The brightener helps to reduce puffiness and dark circles, blend imperfections and add a slight shimmer of light.
-
Step 3
Dab your concealer brush into the drop of brightener and carefully work the liquid into the corner of the eye, being careful not to smear your eyeliner. Lightly work the brightener into the eye area using circular motions.
-
Step 4
Move across the lower lid to the outer corner of the eye, and then apply more brightener if necessary. Use sweeping motions to work the product into the slightly sunken area under the eye. You can reapply eye brightener late in the evening if you become tired and dark circles begin to form.
