Step 1
Begin the in and out salsa dance move in the ballroom position with your left hand on the man's right shoulder, and your right hand in his left, while he places his right hand on your back below your shoulder blade.
-
Step 2
Step back with your right foot as the man steps forward with his left foot, then step in place with your left foot. He begins to turn his torso to the left as he puts his left foot by his right, then places his left foot about a shoulder's width apart and faces the middle of the dance floor.
-
Step 3
Go forward with your right foot, and go forward with your left foot so that your left side will be facing your partner. Turn to the left and step back with your left foot as you reach for your partner's hands as you do the in and out salsa dance move. His right hand will slide down your left arm until you both clasp each other's hands. At this point, face each other with your hands clasped. Keep your elbows bent so you aren't too far apart.
-
Step 4
Move back with your right leg as the man steps forward with his left foot and begins to turn a little to the left. As he steps back with his right foot and continues turning to the left, you step forward and around him with your left foot, and place your right foot beside it. Stand at your partner's right side as you're doing the in and out salsa dance move, and face in the same direction, holding his right hand in your left.
-
Step 5
Progress forward with your left foot as your partner steps back with his right foot and directs you forward with his right hand. As he steps back with his right foot, let your partner turn you to the left. Step forward with your right foot, and continue doing a complete turn to the left as he lets go of your hand.
-
Step 6
Allow the man to catch you with your back is turned toward him by placing his right hand between your shoulder blades. As he wraps his right hand around your back and draw you near, turn until you face him and place your left hand on his right shoulder, and your right hand in his left. Go back to the basic salsa steps, then begin another turn.
