Step 1
Buy some hangers with a self-adhesive backing, available at any department, craft or hardware store in your area. They can normally hold a picture weighing up to 5 lbs. Expect to pay anywhere from $3 to $7 depending on the brand and the store where you buy it.

Peel the backing off the hanger. Some hangers come with two replacement adhesive strips. You can use the hanger without a strip. However, using it with a strip allows you to reuse the hanger.

Stick the hanger on the area where you want to hang your picture. Since you don't have to worry about leaving marks, you can adhere the hanger to any surface (painted, wallpapered or wood).

Wait an hour after sticking the hanger to make sure that it adheres to the surface and then you can hang your picture. You can also hang bulletin boards or other wall decorations.

Step 5
Pull the tab at the bottom of the hanger to remove it. If you change your mind or the picture doesn't look just right, simply remove it. It comes off clean.
