When you throw a birthday party for your child, you'll want to make it as fun for the guest of honor and her friends as possible. Unfortunately, some party games for kids can result in fights and hurt feelings when not all kids get a prize. Instead, you'll want to incorporate fair games into the party.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Give everyone a small prize for trying. When you play a party game, you should give a large prize to the winner and smaller trinkets for the players who participated. You'll make everyone feel like a winner.

  2. Step 2

Use a piñata at your child's birthday party. The appeal of a piñata is that all guests get a prize when the piñata breaks open. If you're worried about smaller children not getting anything, keep some of the candy and toys stashed in your pocket.

  3. Step 3

Stop a game if it gets out of hand. If the kids seem to fight over one of the party games, end it early and move on to a different activity.

  4. Step 4

Hand each child a gift bag as they leave. When you provide guests with party favor bags, you help the party guests feel special without any hurt feelings for not winning a game prize.

Tips & Warnings
  • Remember to include the birthday child in the fair party games. Make sure he feels special at the party by letting him go first for each game.
  • You don't need to spend a lot of money to give each guest a small prize. Purchase a mix candy and toy bag from a party store to use for the celebration.
