3. Ask the dealer to show you how to place a come bet and the basics of the game. They are trained to teach people how to play in order to make them more confident, which of course benefits the casino, in that they will play more. There are also trained craps players who offer a lesson for a fee.

4. Practice come bets at home before ever hitting the tables in a casino or other gamin facility. This will help you build confidence and knowledge of the betting system, so you don't make a costly mistake or look like a fool.
