The key to having your friends over is planning plenty of things to do so you don't get bored. Also, have plenty of snacks to keep the party fueled. Whether you decide to watch movies, listen to music or play video games, make sure you prepare everything ahead of time.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Step1
Visit a movie rental retailer and rent a variety of video game consoles. Make sure they come with extra controllers and easy to understand installation instructions. Rent plenty of games to go with them.
Step2
Pick up a wide variety of movies while you're at the video store. A horror film is always a good bet, or you can make a night of it and rent a whole series.
Step3
Serve plenty of food. Chips are a staple, but you can also expand the menu to include pizza rolls, egg rolls or mini hamburgers. Look for veggie burgers and cheesy snacks if any of your friends are vegetarians.
Step4
Place a variety of soda cans in a centrally located cooler so your friends can help themselves. You might also include juice, energy drinks and flavored waters. Keep extras in the fridge in case you need to restock your supplies.
Step5
Remove unnecessary clutter from the room so your friends have plenty of space to spread out, enjoy themselves and be comfortable. Clear table tops to make room for food and beverages. Also make sure there's nothing blocking the television.
Step6
Put your pets in another room before you have your friends over, especially if somebody is allergic. Getting small pets out of the way will keep them from being trampled accidentally. Larger pets can fend for themselves, but they're also likely to get into the food.
