Step 1
Acquire a cape. This can be done by killing highwaymen near Draynor Village and Falador. The highwaymen drop only black capes; you'll be able to change the color in the next steps.

Step 2
Determine what color you would like to dye your cape. Capes in RuneScape can be dyed red, blue, yellow, green, orange or purple.

Step 3
Visit Aggie the witch in Draynor Village and ask her to make colored dye for you. She will require that you bring her ingredients to make the dyes. She will need two woad leaves for blue dye, three bunches of redberries for red dye and two onions for yellow dye. Once you bring her the required ingredients, she will sell you a dye for five coins apiece.

Step 4
Combine two dyes if you would like a green, orange, or purple cape. Combine blue and yellow dyes to make green. Mix red with yellow to make orange. Combine red and blue to make purple.

Step 5
Dye your cape. Right-click on the dye you would like to use in your inventory and then click on the cape. Your black cape will now be changed to the color of your choice.
