How to Write Love Notes for a Spouse

Sometimes it is those we love the most, that we tell the least. To keep romance alive in a marriage, you have to remind your spouse of your love. Show your love through your actions and your words daily. But every once in awhile, why not go a step further and write your love a note.

Instructions

1. Write a love note to your husband and tuck it in his jacket pocket. Sometime during his busy day, when he reaches his hand into his pocket, he is reminded of how much he is loved.

2. Tuck a love note into your wife's purse when you know she is having a busy or stressful week. Make sure it is some place she can easily find it, like in the section of her purse that she puts her keys.

3. Use lipstick to write your love note right on the bathroom mirror. The best time to do this is late at night, so your husband finds it when gets up in the morning.

4. Play a game with your love notes. Tape one on the outside of the front door for your wife to find when she gets home. In the first note, send her to where her second love note is hidden. In that love note, lead her to dinner waiting on the table or a bottle of wine chilling in the ice bucket.

Tips & Warnings

• Keep it short and sweet. A love note does not have to be a letter. Love notes can be funny, romantic or sentimental, but to be a love note it must be written with love.

• A love note does not count if it is given on a birthday, anniversary or Valentine's day. A love note should be given on no special day, for no special reason, other than to express your love to your spouse.
