Monotony at the office or at school calls for some creative outlets and a little bit of harmless mischief. Make a paper ball launcher to secretly wage war on your least favorite classmate, co-worker or teacher. With just a paper clip, paper and nimble fingers, your boredom will change to a stealthy paper ball war. Just be careful, so that no one knows who's firing the paper balls. You certainly don't want anyone to catch you in the act.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Paper clip
  • Paper
  • Pencil erasers
  • Spit or a cup of water
Step1
Place a large, metal paper clip on your work surface. Point the end of the paper clip that has two loops toward you.
Step2
Put one finger on the end of the paper clip opposite you. Use your other hand to bend the inner part of the paper clip up and away from you.
Step3
Bend the straight end of the inner loop so that it forms a place to set the paper balls before launching them.
Step4
Make several balls by tearing small pieces of paper and crumpling them into little balls. Make the balls just large enough to sit on the launching arm without falling off.
Step5
Set a ball on the launching arm. Gently pull the arm back towards you and release it. Watch the ball fly. Adjust the position of the launcher until your aim is dead on.
Step6
Add to the paper ball warfare arsenal, and up the ante by launching spit wads or erasers from the end of a pencil.

Tips & Warnings

  • Position the paper ball launcher so that you do not aim it at the target's face or eyes.
