1. Register at a site offering free teleconferencing. Free Conference is one such site and is easy to set up and use. They offer up to 150 people for up to 6 hours and have software you can download for free to set up conferences, track calls and do follow-up reports.

2. Select the option to set up a teleconference using your free teleconference account. With your account you will have been assigned a call-in number and a bridge or access number. The call-in number gets people into the company's system and the bridge number belongs to you.

3. Send out invitations. You can use the account to send out invitations to your teleconference. The invitation will already include the call-in and bridge number, so there is no need to memorize it. People can call in via standard phone lines or using their VoIP system.

4. Use the account to set up a free teleconferencing call for podcasting, by sending out the invites and let people know it will be for a podcast. This will require them to be calling in from their computers and they may need a web cam or microphone. If they do not have these capabilities, they will not be able to join the podcast.
