How to Make a Paper Jumping Spider
This is an easy trick to do with two paper clips. Simply re-bend the paper clips, attach them and you have a fun, easy toy. Pressing on and releasing one end of the spider will make it jump upwards.
Instructions

1
Take two metal paper clips and unbend them from their normal shape and into a straight line.
-
2
Put the two paper clips together and bend them into a U shape. Make sure that both legs of the U are the same length.
-
-
3
Bend the two legs of both of the paper clips slighly.
-
4
Flip over one of the paper clips so that the legs of one fold upwards and the other fold downwards.
-
5
Slide the legs of one paper clip through the body of the other. One will go down through the body and the other will go up through the body. Pull on the legs until the two paper clips lock together.
-
6
Unfold all four legs of the paper clip creature so that they are all straight. Pull the legs to the sides to ensure that the paper clips won't slide apart while the toy is being used.
-
7
Fold all the legs so they are folding in the same direction. Make sure that the paper clip spider will stand levelly on a surface.
-
8
Launch the jumping spider by pressing down on one end of the spider's body and quickly releasing it. This will cause the spider to pop up and jump through the air.
