1
Invite your alien friends to land at your house for a party. Make your own alien-themed invitations on your computer or buy some at a party store. Ask your guests to come dressed as their favorite outer space creature.
-
2
Create your Halloween alien costume. There's no need to spend a lot of cash-simply find a shiny silver leotard or fashion a toga-type costume out of silver fabric. Paint your face green and add some glitter for an extraterrestrial flair. Buy a pair of those springy antennae that are popular with little kids.

3
Plan your alien-themed menu. Green Jell-O shots will have your guests spying aliens around every corner. Make green-frosted cupcakes or bake a cake in the shape of an alien's face (use an Easter-egg-shaped cake pan). Put some dry ice in a bowl of lime punch for a spooky effect.

4
Decorate your "landing" pad. Use green, silver and black decorations like balloons, cups, plates and flatware. Play the "X-Files" soundtrack on the stereo, and put some "Star Trek" DVDs on the television.
-
5
Make alien "cocoons" to hang from the ceiling. Wrap styrofoam balls or plastic Easter eggs with green, white and black "spider webs" (available wherever Halloween decorations are sold) and hang them from the ceiling with fishing wire.
