1
Pour a container of yogurt into your blender. Choose the flavors you like the most that will go best with the remaining ingredients like vanilla, strawberry or blueberry. An 8-oz. serving works best for a single drink. Look for yogurt brands that contain live cultures and acidophilus which can naturally help boost your immune system.

Add in fresh fruit. Strawberries, bananas, raspberries and blueberries work best for mixing in a blender. Besides being rich in antioxidants, berries are also a good source of fiber. Wash the fruit and slice it into smaller pieces before putting it in the blender so it mixes smoothly.

Mix together with apple juice or orange juice. When choosing a juice, it doesn't matter if it's frozen, refrigerated or from the shelf in the grocery, just choose one that is 100 percent fruit juice and free of added sugars, dyes or preservatives. Orange juice is high in vitamin C and can help keep you healthy through cold and flu season. Both apple and orange juices blend well with the taste of yogurts and berries.

Include a scoop of powdered protein. While yogurt, juice and fruits are high in vitamins, calcium and natural sugars, adding a serving of protein in the morning can give you more sustaining energy for the morning. You can purchase a container of powdered protein from health food stores or in the health section of a local grocery market.
