Step1
Start Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional and open an existing PDF from your files that contains comments that you would like to control if and how they are shown.

Click the arrow beside the "Show" button in the "Comment & Markup" toolbar to display the options that can be used with the Show tool.

Choose the "Show Comments" list to display the "Show Comments" pane at the bottom of the screen. This shows all the comments that are included in the PDF document. On this pane you can view the details, sort or print them. You can choose "Hide Comments List" from the "Show" button to close this pane.
Step4
Click "Hide All Comments" to hide all the comments in your PDF document. You can show them again by clicking the "Show All Comments" selection from the "Show" button drop-down list.
Step5
Point to "Show by Type," "Show by Reviewer," "Show by Status" or "Show by Checked State" and click to make a selection on what specific type of comment you want to show in the PDF.
Step6
Choose "Open All Pop-Ups" or "Minimize All Pop-Ups" from the "Show" drop-down list to control if the pop-ups in the PDF are displayed or not.
