1
Decide if you want a wireless audio sender. This will allow you to put the amp or computer and speakers at a maximum of 150 ft. away from each other, which could be great if you have limited desk space or are worried about humming and feedback. The Logitech wireless audio sender is a great one for this. Use a DJ mixer, if your computer is too close to the stereo to avoid bad sound quality.

2
Use the 3.5mm audio jack to dual RCA jacks, to hook up to the computer. These are available at any electronics or large retailer. Run the 3.5mm cable that is plugged into your sound card output to the amp.

Run a dual RCA male cable from the OUTPUT jack of the pre-amp mixer to the amp or other home stereo unit. You should have one of these cables around, they come standard with the home stereo equipment. This is the standard way to hook up sound sources. If you are having trouble, go back and check all the plugs.

Make sure all the connections are grounded. Plug all power sources in and test the set up. If there is a low-level humming, try turning the volume down on the computer and up on the amp, or vice versa. You may have to play with it a little to get it just right.
