Razor scooters are convenient to ride around on except when your legs get tired. This is where a razor scooter seat will come in handy. You can go downhill with ease while sitting on your seat. Follow these steps to learn how to make a razor scooter seat.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy
Step1
Tape two paint buckets together, one on top of the other, with duct tape. Use heavy-duty duct tape to make sure the paint buckets won't separate or fall off when taped on the scooter. You can find heavy-duty duct tape at your local do-it-yourself store.
Step2
Purchase a bike seat cover from a bike supply store or your local retail store. These are inexpensive and comfortable on the bottom. Put the bike seat on the top of the cans then tighten it so it doesn't come apart when riding.
Step3
Set the buckets, one on top of the other, on the Razor scooter directly in front of the foot brake. Make sure that the bike seat faces forward as it would on an actual bike. Secure it to the Razor scooter with duct tape.
Step4
Secure the buckets by wrapping duct tape over the top of the buckets and under the razor scooter. Do this several times until you are sure the buckets won't fall off the razor scooter.
Step5
Sit on the seat of the Razor scooter and take it for a test drive. Make any necessary adjustments to better secure the seat if needed.

Tips & Warnings

  • Brake using your toes. Extend your leg over the top of the Razor scooter seat and push on the brake using your toes.
  • Check to make sure the buckets are secure every time you ride your Razor scooter.
