Step 1
Get glowing. Katie keeps a golden glow year-round with bronzer. This gives her face a dark, even complexion which makes a perfect canvas for shimmering shadows and lip gloss to stand out.

Tweeze your eyebrows into a strong arch. Be careful not to go overboard-–Katie's brows are sculpted, but never sparse. If your brows have naturally sparse patches, fill them in with a brow pencil.

Step 3
Create a smoky eye with light gray shadow on the lids and slightly darker gray or charcoal in the crease. Blend the darker shadow in the crease and extend toward the outer edge of the eye.

Line the top lash with black liquid eyeliner; gradually thicken the line as you approach the outer edge of the eye and curve upwards to achieve a cat's eye look. Also, line the bottom lid with a thinner line.

Step 5
Top off your eyes with a generous coat of mascara. For some people, both liquid eyeliner and mascara together would be too much–-but that's just another reason that Katie stands apart from the crowd.

Select a frosty or pearly pink lipstick and outline the lips with a slightly darker pink liner.
