Former child star Ashley Olsen has struggled for years with her weight. Today the waif-like celeb maintains her figure with a strict exercise program. She watches her weight carefully but also tries to add muscle to avoid the eating disorder rumors that plagued her twin sister.

Step1
Try yoga on the beach. Not only does Ashley Olsen enjoy doing yoga on the L.A. beach, but she also practices yoga on vacation, including her frequent trips to Mexico.
Step2
Think about exercise as a way to relax and unwind from your day, instead of something you have to do. This Olsen twin has told reporters that exercise classes, especially yoga, are her favorite ways to relax.
Step3
Keep busy with errands when you don't have time to work out. Ashley doesn't always have time to train, but running her various businesses keeps this girl in excellent shape.
Step4
Wear 4-inch heels whenever possible. The diminutive star is seldom seen without sky-high heels, which work your calves and lower legs.
Step5
Land a fitness-obsessed boyfriend. After allegedly hooking up with cyclist Lance Armstrong, Ashley began making time to train a few times a week.
Step6
Take an aerobics class at your local gym. When she has a free hour in her busy schedule, Olsen heads to a local gym where she does aerobics to quickly burn off excess calories.
Step7
Add stretches, leg raises and squats to any exercise session. Ashley includes these moves in her favorite yoga routines routine to burn even more calories.
