Step1
Log onto the Walmart website and check back frequently for different samples that they have listed.
Click on "In Stores Now" and scroll down to "Free Samples" or type in www.walmart.triaddigital.com/free-samples.aspx
I found products like, Aqua Fresh, Sensodyne, Frizz-Ease, L'Oreal Skin Genesis, Goodnites and a few more.
Step2
Click on the sample you want and fill in your name and address. At the end it will ask a couple of questions and bingo, you are on your way to getting a free sample in the mail.
Step3
The Purex website also gives a free sample after you sign up for a contest in designing a "Green Tee" t-shirt. Go to www.purexsavesgreen.com
Step4
The Dove website gives free hair products samples but I found the Doves Deodorant to be "sold out" as they put it. Simply log on to their website and fill out your name and address.
Step5
I also logged onto Sunsilk Hair Products and got a free shampoo sample there.
Step6
Print Photos on your free paper!
3m.com has free paper product samples. You have to type in free samples in the search box and search through the list that comes up but it only takes your name and address once you find the right link.
Step7
Wildseedsfarm.com will send a free resource book and catalog by filling out your name and address.
Step8
Proctor & Gamble also has some free samples that can be had for a name and address and a limited amount of questions. Log onto pgsolutions.everyday.com and click on Samples & Coupons. However I found with this one that the have mostly coupons available. I found only a feminine product listed for a sample today.
Step9
Here are some other companies that I have seen listed with free samples. (I have not however, been to all of them myself yet.)
Sani-Hands, Zoobooks, Airborne, Reach, Gold Bond, Earth Chips, Yarrah, Coffee Mate, Ensure, Betty Crocker. Just log onto your favorite product sites and see what you can get for free!
Step10
Sign yourself up for an email addy where you can have all the company emails sent to if you don't want them all in your regular email inbox. Yahoo, Gmail, Hotmail or the like will do. I can then read or delete any that I wish when I wish without having my main email addy socked in with advertising emails.

on 6/1/2008 Helpful pointers! I think the surveys get more complex all the time - it used to be the norm some eons ago that you'd just send your name and address! Thanks for a great article.
