How to save money next time you buy gas

The pricing of gas continues to soar. Today I saw a .14 cent increase in 1 day! Here are a few ideas to save at the pump.

1. If you buy gas at the same location, apply for their credit card. You can get cents off per gallon or rebates.
2. Use a reward credit card, as if you purchase gas and earn points, you can redeem for a check. Use this check to purchase your next tank of gas.
3. Shop at a store that offers cents off, % off, or set amount of money off gas at their station, if you shop at the store. (ex. Costco, Sams, Woodmans, Dominicks, Meijers, to name a few).
4. Also, buy in the morning as something about colder air assists with giving you more for your money (has to do with volume or mass, cant remember which)
