I'm sure you've seen people do something much faster on their PC than you would take...it seems just a few keystrokes and voila! Well, we have a few of the tricks they use just for you!

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • PC
  • Windows operating system (NT, XP, Vista)

Step1
highlight text or image You can easily copy and paste text and pictures from one application to another using keystrokes or right-clicks.
FIRST - HIGHLIGHT the desired object or Text
Step2
Ctrl + C HOLD Control (Ctrl) key down, then press 'C' to copy
Step3
Ctrl + V MOVE to the place you want to place the object or text (another application, etc.)

HOLD Control key down, then press 'V' to paste

Tips & Warnings

  • To CUT the image or text, use 'X' instead of 'C'
  • Use across applications (Microsoft and other applications!)
