If you are interested in stopping junk mail, but would prefer to do-it-yourself rather than hiring a company to do it, then this is the kit for you. You can stop junk mail for up to five years by using this kit that has a few simple steps.
Fill Out and Mail Postcards. Fill out, sign and mail the included pre-addressed postcards requesting your name and address be removed from the largest bulk mailers’ lists.
Step3
Make the Call. Call the provided numbers to stop receiving even more junk mail, like credit card applications, Reader’s Digest mailings, AOL disks, and phone books.
Step4
Go Online. Visit our suggested websites to stop receiving promotions from ShopWise, Valpak, and other miscellaneous junk mailers.
Step5
Login to www.stopjunkmailkit.com. Enter the catalogs you wish to stop receiving. We’ll send you an email with the contact information for these catalogs, allowing you to quickly visit a web site or call a toll free number to remove your name from their distribution database.
Step6
Enjoy life without junk mail! We’ll stay in touch to ensure that you stay junk mail-free, providing useful information like how to stop receiving junk mail for deceased or relocated residents and legal steps you can take in the unlikely event a company does not stop mailing you.
Tips & Warnings
In addition to eliminating junk mail in your life, stopjunkmailkit.com will plant five trees for the kit you purchase.

What a great idea, a do-it-yourself kit that walks you through the whole process. I think this is a lot more comprehensive then some of the online options.

I did this a couple months ago and am already receiving less junk. I've been worried about junk mail and identity theft for a long time now. And while I've always been religious about shredding my mail like credit cards and bills, I still felt really uneasy about people fishing through the mail and recycling for my personal info.
I think anyone who's ever thought about the waste produced by junk mail or the risk of ID theft should take these easy steps! The cost is only $3.50 a year for peace of mind!
