If you suspect that your ram is having not working correctly and causing errors. Here is a easy test you can run to test the ram.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Windows computer
  1. Step 1

    Download Memtest test from

    http://www.snapfiles.com/freeware/system/fwmemory.html

  2. Step 2
    Mem test
    Mem test

    Let the software run a minimum of 30 minutes.

  3. Step 3

    If errors are found replace your ram. If no errors are found and you still suspect the ram let it run over night. Almost all ram that has been added to your computer has a lifetime warranty. Contact the manufacturer and they will replace it for free. If it's not under warranty the ram should be labeled as to the type and speed. Replace it with the exact same kind and test again.
