Do you remember when PayPal used to give $5 for signing up? Last week, I was referred to Revolution Money Exchange, a new PayPal competitor that gives you $25 IMMEDIATELY for signing up. I was skeptical so I did a little research and here's what I found out.

Revolution Money Exchange is FDIC insured! I found out that they are registered as an online bank, they are FDIC insured, and they are the same company that issues the "Revolution Card" which is an up and coming credit card. I heard about their credit card months ago when I was shopping on buy.com. I also read reviews from others who had signed up and received their signup bonus - all with no problems!

I felt much more comfortable so I went ahead and clicked on the
referral link to sign up. It took about 2 minutes to complete the application, and the sign-up bonus of $25 immediately showed up on my Revolution account. I wanted the money in my personal account however, so I requested a transfer to my checking account here at home.
