How to make Nicaraguan Carrot Juice

Carrot juice sounds so unappetizing. But it is quite good the way that Nicaraguans make it. Carrot juice is full of vitamins and is good for you.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 2 pounds Carrots
  • Juice from 2-4 Oranges
  • Blender or food processor
  • strainer
  • sugar
  • water
  • ice
  1. Step 1

    Place approximately 2 pounds of clean carrots in a blender or food processor. Process until finely chopped adding hot water as necessary to process.

  2. Step 2

    Strain the juice into a 2 quart pitcher

  3. Step 3

    Add 1-2 cups of sugar (or to taste).

  4. Step 4

    Add the juice of 2-4 oranges.

  5. Step 5

    Fill pitcher with water.

  6. Step 6

    Serve over ice.
