How to Save Money Throwing a Party

Want to throw that great party, but want to save money doing it? I'll give you a few tips on how to do just that. I did it for my friend's bridal shower.

1. Bridal shower is just an example. The favors, I bought flip flop keychains, and candy (skittles/starburst). The keychains were $6.95/dozen. The candy came in a unit, 1 big bag, 90 pieces altogether at $14.95/unit from www.orientaltrading.com You can subscribe and get magazines FREE, dont have to spend a penny for the magazine at all.
2. The leis (It was a luau theme) I bought at a party store, there was 25 lei's in a box for $20 which is a good deal. The favor bags I bought to put the favors in, I had planned for about 50 people...There was 3 different colors I got. Pink, Green, and Purple. There was 18 bags in each so it came to 54 favor bags. I also got these at the party store at only $2.99/each bag so only spent $9 on favor bags.

3. You can save money throwing a party doing it this way. I HIGHLY recommend oriental trading for parties, vacation bible school, graduation, just about anything you can think of!!
