Nothing transforms a bottle into art as quickly as creating a fancy decorative bottle stopper. All it takes is a trip to your hardware store to select an interesting drawer pull. Here's how to create a decorative bottle stopper using a drawer pull.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Glass bottle with cork stopper
  • Drawer pull
Step1
Select your glass bottles.

Visit your local dollar store or Target and purchase glass bottles with a cork stopper. You can often find these in a variety of colors. Choose colors that will coordinate with the rest of your home decor.
Step2
Select an interesting drawer pull.

Visit your local hardware store and select some interesting drawer pulls. Drawer pulls come in a variety of styles and materials including ceramic, metal, and glass. Pick out several that will work well with the colors you already have in your home.
Step3
Attach the drawer pull to the cork stopper.

Each drawer pull comes with a screw. Remove the screw and twist it into the center of the cork stopper on your bottles, creating a channel. Once you have a channel, place the drawer pull on the screw and insert it securely into the channel. Admire your new decorative bottle stopper!
