How to stay focused while studying for finals

I have a very hard time studying for classes that I care nothing about, (Spanish & Astronomy to name a few) but it's just something you have to knuckle down and do. You may not like it but you have to do it.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate

Things You’ll Need:

  • Your books
  • paper
  • pencils
  • computer

Step1
Make sure you have all the study material you need before locking yourself in a room. Turn the tv off, and the radio, it will only distract you from what you've set out to do.
Step2
Read through all the sections your final is over again. Take the time to write down the definitions and take notes out of the chapter. Answer the questions at the end of the chapter. Make sure you know the key points to the chapter!
Step3
Make note cards and have someone quiz you over the material now. If it turns out that you really don't know the material then lock yourself back in a room and continue studying. Try the note card quiz later.
Step4
Once you ace the note card quiz look over everything one last time before shutting it away. You don't want to over load your brain before the big test.
Step5
If there are in websites that corresponds with your books then use them. They are there for a reason!
