How to Find Weird News on the Web

If you like to read about strange happenings there are a multitude of resources on the web.

1. Try your own google or yahoo websearch. Look under odd, strange or weird news. You'll find more than you could read. If you do not want to do the searching I've selected a few good ones for you.
2. http://www.snopes.com/daily/index.asp Snopes is very good about giving you the scoop on urban legends. They also have this page dedicated just to featuring a daily collection of interesting "news". One headline from today, "Wife Suing Husband after Carrot Attack".
3. Try accessing a listing of odd news sites. The odd stuff just keeps on coming...http://www.dmoz.org/News/Alternative/Odd_News/
4. The Onion News is a good source. There is plenty of news at the site, along with some oddities to keep you occupied. http://www.theonion.com/content/index
5. Even CBS has their own strange news section on the web. http://www.cbsnews.com/sections/ap/strange/main501370.shtml
6. USA Today has their offbeat report. Offbeat is good right? http://www.usatoday.com/news/offbeat/default.htm
7. This site has, well, some nutty news. http://nuttynuttynews.blogspot.com/
8. http://www.livescience.com/strangenews/ Is a scientific look at unexplained mysteries and weird discoveries. Worth checking out!
9. A potpourri of interesting current events, new products, humor and just plain ... hoaxes. Unusual news stories are everywhere, even in caves. http://caveviews.blogs.com/cave_news/unusual_news_stories/index.html
