Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
Keep your mind open and eyes open, but do not think you are going to get rich or make allot of money without any work. Look around you, is their any need in your community or online that you could fill. You may be able to start your own business without much cost if the need is there.
Step2
Know you do not have to pay someone to help you find a online job. If you do choose to pay for a list of work at home job opportunities make you chooses wisely, do the research necessary. Remember if you do choose to pay, most of the time all you are paying for is a list. Some are helpful, some are not.
Step3
If you enjoy writing, try a few paid to writing sites like ehow or xomba. If done on a ongoing basis these will earn some income while you are searching. They are also a great way to network and learn of new work at home jobs and their legitimacy.
Step4
AN ABSOLUTE MUST: You may do a few Goggle searches but do not rely on this alone. The best way is to something legitimate is to network online with individuals that have similar interests and objectives. You can do this by joining online forums, message boards, and newsgroups. Networking on line is a must to find work from home. See link in resource box for article on networking online to find a work at home job.

on 5/9/2008 I have been taking surveys online for almost a year now and I have made thousands of dollars so far and counting. The key is to sign up for as many of the good ones as you can. The best ones are the sites that pay well and send surveys consistently. I have written a blog about this which includes links to some of the best paid survey sites I have found. You can check it out here: http://legitimatepaidsurveysitesforyou.blogspot.com

on 5/7/2008 Thanks for the great tips. As someone who is growing tired of the corporate life, I can use some helpful advice on going independent. I'm doing much of what you suggest already and it's beginning to pay off. So maybe sometime soon I can finally work from home full time!
