Permalink structures are the urls created for each post in word press. By default the structure looks like "www.yourdomain.com/?p=N". If you are trying hard to comprehend that url, guess how the googlebot would like it. Change the default structure to more comprehensible one in 5 simple steps
Login into your wordpress admin panel
Click Options > Permalinks
Choose "custom". If you have decided your permalink structure, type it in the blank provided or copy, paste this structure.

Click "update permalink structure".
