Does just looking in your pantry take your appetite away? Look no further for I have your answer!

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Labels
  • Racks
  • Floor Containers
  • Hooks

Step1
The first thing you need to do is take everything out of your pantry. Sweep, mop an dust.
Using a clean slate works best!
Step2
The next thing you need to do is go through all of your items and throw away expired items or donate items you will not eat.
Step3
Next, figure out which items you use most often. Those items need to be eye level so when you are in the pantry they are right there in front of your face.
Potatoes should be stored in a plastic container a couple inches off the ground. If you have a bad back try and store them on the bottom shelf instead.
Buying canisters is a waste of money and time. They are made to look nice, but they are the same amount of hassle as the flour and sugar bags.
Cereal should go on the top shelf usually because that is the tallest amount of space. If you have several bags of one item just combine them into one bag. Organize your items by their duties. Flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder should go together and hotdog buns, bread and rolls should stay together. Use common sense when trying to organize.
Step4
A great way to store spices is on a spice rack. Many people actually do not store their spices vertically on a wall, which is surprising to most people. Any vertical space on the door should be used.

By now your pantry should look better and easier to find items.
