Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Things You’ll Need:
- Concealer
- Foundation
- Eye Base
- Eyeliner
- Eyeshadow
- Mascara
- Blush
- Powder (pressed)
- Chapstick
- Gloss
- Lip Color (optional)
Step1
First, washing and moisturizing your face is the best. What I do to make my look even more natural is to take my foundation and mix it with my moisturizer. This eliminates the cakey, mask factor. Be sure to blend well.
Step2
Concealer is Step #2. My favorite is Sonia Kashuk Concealer Palette, because it has 4 different colors and a mini powder. An olive color, light, and darker. This way it matches all skin colors. Apply undereyes with your middle finger, a concealer brush is optimal. Apply with a light rolling motion.
Step3
Eyes are next. Apply an eye base to start off with. This eliminates redness and veins. One of my favorite eye bases is M.A.C Paint Pots in "Painterly". Be sure to pick one that matches your skin tone.
Step4
Next take your eyeshadow, for a natural look, use a paler color, with iridescence. I use M.A.C powder shadow in "Shroom". Apply all over the lid, and if you choose to use a darker color, apply in the crease only. As for eyeliner, only apply in the bottom, inner lid. This gives your eyes definition. Also, a mascara tip, when applying, wiggle the brush at the base of lash to grip the lashes. Then pull out for a great look.
Step5
Powder and blush come next. Apply the pressed powder lightly over the face to set your makeup. Then smile and apply your light blush all over the apples of your cheeks.
Step6
Time for lips! Make sure your lips are soft and exfoliated. Then apply chapstick, my favorite is Softlips brand. Next apply a sheer lip color. I use Neutrogena Lip Sheers in Ruby. It seems dark in the package, but it is very sheer. Now cover with a clear lip gloss (love C.O. Bigelow Mint Mentha)
