How to get rid of ants naturally and easy!

You can get rid of those pesky ants without chemicals! This really works! We had a real problem with carpenter ants and after 1 day, I found a few dead ants and by day 3, they were gone. I have not seen even 1 ant now for 5 weeks! This is simple and chemical free!

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

Borax
maple syrup or honey
a few small saucer type plates

Step1

place a small circle of maple syrup or honey in the center of your saucer

Step2

place a ring of borax around the edge of your saucer

Step3

set the saucers in several places the ants are the most problem.

Step4

Leave the saucers there about 3 days. You may have to repeat in about 6 weeks.

Step5

When the ants travel through the borax, it kills off their skeletal system and they die minutes later. The honey/maple syrup attracts them to the site and the borax kills them off.

Tips & Warnings

Borax is supposed to be only as harmful as table salt to pets or children but it is still a good idea to not put this on the floor when kids or pets might eat or lick large amounts of it.

on 5/29/2008 the other thing that may be a little more difficult to find but is slightly more effective (indoors & out) is diatomaceous earth. It also tears up the exoskeletons of bugs & is relatively harmless (unless you inhale it directly).
