Have you ever wandered how people write decent blogs? Do you feel like every blog you write sucks, and you want to attract more visitors to it?

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • a computer
  • your brain
  1. Step 1

When you start out a blog the first thing you need is a story. Make sure you aren't always writing about that "you ate at burger king three times this week". No one cares about where you eat unless it's a good story and something happened. The best blogs can make people feel their emotion and not boredom.

  2. Step 2

Add some spice to your blog. Make it attractive. Don't be a plain Jane and have neutral colors all over the place. If you use wordpress you can find some really good themes submitted by other users.

  3. Step 3

Use good grammar. Spell check your writings before you publish. Make sure that you know what words to use too. Nothing is more annoying than when someone doesn't know the difference between things like there, their, and they're.

  4. Step 4

Make sure it's a good length. Don't just keep 3 sentences to tell your story, and don't write a book.

  5. Step 5

When you write a blog try not to complain about every single thing in your life. It makes you come off as a negative person, and let's face it: No one likes a negative person.

  6. Step 6

Reread your writing when your done. Fix errors, and make any corrections that you think you need to add. You don't want to publish an unfinished piece.
