Here's an easy, affordable way to get rid of mosquitoes.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Plain Spray Bottle
  • Listerine
  1. Step 1

    Fill a 4 ounce spray bottle with Listerine.

  2. Step 2
     

    Spray around all of your lawn chairs, tables, children's swing areas, door and window frames.

  3. Step 3

    Next, spray any areas with standing water. The mosquitoes will die instantly.

Tips & Warnings

on 7/7/2008 It has worked for me. As the SNOPES article states, the dish soap doesn't work at all but the listerine may kill mosquitos if directly sprayed.

on 4/26/2008 I never knew Listerine worked! I don't use it to gargle anymore but I'll try it for mosquitoes. We get a lot of them in our back yard.

You might want to add a few pictures since this is a short article. Pictures always help.
