on 5/17/2008 I was told that if you did not file before the 15th then you still have to wait 6-8wks for processing so there for you can not go by the last 2 digits of the ssn

on 5/12/2008 I got mine last Friday just like I was supposed to. I have not had any problems. If you claimed your son on your taxes because he is still in college, that may be why he has not gotten his. Have you tried this website https://sa1.www4.irs.gov/irfof/IRServlet?app=IRACTC to see the status of your sons check? Try it and see if it helps you.

on 5/12/2008 My Brother-in-law, who makes about $75,000 per year is the only one I know who has received his rebate. His last two digits are 52, however, my 21 year old son who's number is 21 and only made $3,076.00 has not received his. All filed electronically and had direct deposit and live in the same state. My son is a college student and really needs his rebate. I understand that the more you made, the less you get. Could this be that they are sending the least amounts first, or have they just screwed his up?

on 5/8/2008 Of all the people that I've asked, in addition to those many I work with-only 1 has received the rebate. Something's wrong when only 1 out of over 50 people has received the deposit. Right now (as of 5/8/2008), I'll believe it if, and when, I ever receive it.
