Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Things You’ll Need:
- Paper, pencil, a little free time and imagination.
Step1
First is process of elimination. What colors don't you care for. What are you wanting to change to. Do you like warm colors such as country or cool colors, like that of a beach, Do you want to go darker or lighter? When you walk into a room you want people to notice the whole room so it needs to be linked together, To make a room look bigger you should probably go with a white ceiling and then color your walls.
Step2
Shop for paint, choose three or more paint color samples, Go home and put them against the wall until you find the one you like. The same for wall paper. Paint and border can do a lot for any room you just want to give a little face lift to.
Step3
Once you have decided the color scheme, shop for a good quality paint, Cheaper is not always better. Some of these paints need three or more coats, a better quality paint will need (for the most part) only two coats. I suggest a washable paint for heavy traffic rooms.

on 5/6/2008 Did you go to school for this or something? That was very well worded, and very helpful. ;-)
