How to Clean Car Fluid Stains off of the Driveway

If you want to clean up your driveway where the car has leaked, it is actually pretty simple.

Things You'll Need

• lighter fluid
• BBQ grill brush

Instructions

1. Spray a moderate amount of lighter fluid on the spot. Let is sit and soak in for an hour to a couple hours depending on the severity of the stain. If they are really bad, you might benefit from letting it sit overnight, and spraying a bit more of the lighter fluid on the stain after a couple hours.

2. After it has sat for a little bit, take the BBQ grill brush and scrub vigorously.

3. Take your garden hose and spray the remains.

4. If there are still stains, repeat all steps.

Tips & Warnings

• Try to clean the area when it is still fresh.

• Do not use that grill brush on your BBQ. Keep it separate for automotive cleaning needs.

• Do not smoke around the area you are cleaning or clean an area where people frequently flick cigarette butts on the ground.
