Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Things You’ll Need:
- your jeans or pants
- water
- a little "elbow greese"
- a drying rack (the back of a chair works too)
- clips or clothes pins and small weights (such as little weights used on a fishing pole)-optional
Step1
First, get the pants or jeans wet or at least damp (cold water preferred)
Step2
Next, take the jean or pant by the top of the inseam (at the crotch area)with one hand and about 6" down the jean/pant with the other hand and pull the fabric.
Step3
Move down the jean/ pant continuing to pull the fabric. Do this on both legs.
Step4
Now, hang the pants over a drying rack or chair and clip 1-2 weights on the bottom hem of each leg. Let dry over night.

on 9/27/2008 Great tip! I usually wear a 30 to 31 inch inseam, but have a cute pair of jeans that are only 29....so, I cannot wear them with anything but very flat flip flops...I will try this tip and perhaps be able to wear little heels with them now! Maybe a pair of light handweights could be used for drying? You could wrap two lengths of ribbon per weight with clips attached to both ends, so each weight is pulling evenly on both seams of each leg:)

on 5/26/2008 Clever tips. I'm only 5 feet tall, so this is not a problem for me BUT my husband is 6 foot 4. We'll give it a shot.
